ACADEMIC CREDIT
Participants earn up to 12 semester units of academic credit (18 quarter units) for our extended Wildlands Studies projects. Our short courses earn 4 semester units (6 quarter units). While students usually encounter no difficulties in transferring credit to their home campus, applicants should check with their advisors prior to enrolling. Our staff will be happy to explain the program in further detail to the applicant’s advisor, if necessary. Click here to learn more about academic credit.

Program fees are due upon acceptance into a project. Please note program fee deadlines. After fee deadlines, enrollments are accepted on a space-available basis. Fees shown cover program fees only. Each project also has a in-country expense. These are listed at the bottom of each program description and on our program fee page. In-country fees cover transportation, accommodations, sometimes food and other travel expenses. Click here to learn about program fees.
